Und wieder konnten Lebensmittel und Zeltplanen gekauft werden. Vielen Dank an alle, die dies möglich gemacht haben!

On May 19th, monks from Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery went to Jawalakel, the largest Tibetan refugee settlement in Kathmandu. Jawalakel is home to many impoverished Tibetan refugees, especially those who work at the local carpet factory and the elderly people who are there. The monks had heard that there was significant damage to their homes and that around two-hundred families are in need there, so they brought one-hundred tarps, one-hundred tents, large bags of rice, a full tank of water, and also disinfecting powder to help prevent the spread of dangerous diseases.
Thanks to all those who have been generously making donations to Shenpen to make all of this possible.
