At 6:30 AM on June 26th, Shenpen monks and volunteers left Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery in Boudhanath for the village of Bhalwari in Bethan VDC ward 6, Ramechhap district. With them they brought 288 CGI tin sheets, 78 metal pipes, 156 metal rods, as well as other temporary shelter supplies for 26 families in need there.
The 120 students at Sri Balnimna Madhyamik Vidyala school were also given several study supplies like notebooks, pens, and pencils and the school received a new computer and printer per their request. The school building received a "red mark" from the government which means it is too dangerous for the students and faculty, so Shenpen also donated tin sheets for them to build temporary classrooms.
